"The Commuter" - Short film shot entirely with Nokia N8!!!

This might be old news for tech geeks, But having talked about the subject in our FB page http://www.facebook.com/NokiaSoftlogic I learnt that lot of Nokia fans in Sri Lanka do not know the interesting news.

The Commuter is an action movie directed by McHenry brothers, starring Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire) , Pamela Anderson (Baywatch) , Charles Dance and Ed Westwick. The cool fact is that it is entirely shoot with Nokia N8. Can you believe it?

It's looks awesome with high quality video and action packed sequences, given that it is shot entirely from a mobile phone. Following is the 7 and a half minute movie. Enjoy it and feel free to comment on the short film.

Wait for more behind the scenes action on Nokia-Softlogic Sri Lanka blog.

A stylish and durable steel body, compact size and smartphone skill, the Nokia 6700 slide looks strong enough to hold its own in a modern world. Touchscreen, Android and whatnot have forced a sea change and many fear Symbian to have lost some of its mojo. It still has its strongholds of course – it seems the Eseries and Nseries will never fall out of users’ favor. But where does that leave an affordable midrange smartphone like the 6700 slide? Affordable may as well be the key word here. We’re looking at an easy-going, eye-catching phone that wants to have mass appeal. It’s got some big shoes to fill too – its bar-shaped sibling was one of the best appreciated Nokia handsets last year. Adding smart to what was a pretty cool phone already seems like the next logical move. The 6700 slide is the right package for the right market

If you are on the hunt for a stylish smartphone but you run a tight budget, chances are the Nokia C5 is on your radar already. The compact Symbian-running handset looks well, costs little and can give you all the smart you need in a phone

Nokia service camp...... for all our loyal Nokia customers

The Nokia X3 is our first glimpse into the new Xseries and we’re excited to see how things have changed since XpressMusic ran the show. And we have changed, the new angular look is a testament to that. The S40 on the inside has changed as well, throwing Ovi Store and multi-tasking into the mix.

In the world of Nokia it's all about evolution, rather than revolution. So expect the specs on the X6 to blow your mind. The handset is the next step for the market leader scrambling to make up for a late start in touch- screens
